Kathmandu

Kathmandu is my hometown.I have been living here all my life & I like this city that's a paradise.
Being the capital,it's definitely overpopulated which is apparent in public spots like cinema halls, parks, public transport like buses & mini-buses,main streets & so on.The traffic congestion on the highway is wearying at times when it takes hours to move from one point to another.Over the years, the city has been highly polluted. The rivers seem sullied & contaminated. Many areas have been deforested & new houses & buildings are still emerging.Theft & crime is also not a new topic.

However I think that Kathmandu is a developed city & consists every kinds of modern facilities & infrastructures like educational institutions, corporate, courts, business corporation, embassies, eateries & so on.Though there is a large density of population,we live in peace & harmony. There are some greeneries outskirts of the city.I am fortunate to have my family & friends within the city.I am proud of my hometown.

Life in Kathmandu

Kathmandu is the capital of our country and the only city most developed. I was born in Kathmandu. Kathmandu also has its own good sides. We can enjoy many technological facilities here which are not available in most parts of the country. Not only technology, education is also much better than other part of country. Before it was not so populated, but now it seems every Nepalese lives here in Kathmandu. Due to increase in population there is increase in demand. This has made government difficult to fulfill all needs of people. We Nepalese are suffering from loadsheding and talking about the roads, the roads are so unmanaged, so due to this unmanaged roads people are suffering from traffic jams. This is all due to our political reason .If all regions were equally developed then people would not migrate to Kathmandu in such a large rate which would help to minimize these problems.
However, Kathmandu have many other facilities  but it should be managed properly so that life in Kathmandu can be better, comfortable, peaceful and much more enjoyable than it is currently. .

Life in Kathmandu

A city where every Nepalese dreamed to live in, the capital of our country and the only most developed city. I was born in Kathmandu itself and live here permanently. Life style in Kathmandu has changed since I was child up to now. Before it was not so populated, but now it seems every Nepalese live here. Increasing population density has increased basic needs demands. Increase in vehicles, in petroleum products, in electricity consumption. This has made government difficult to fulfill all needs of people. We Nepalese are tolerating power cuts (loadsheding) ok daily 13 hours currently which even increases up to 18- 20 hours. Talking about the roads, the roads of Kathmandu are so unmanaged that we have 2 tolerate traffic jams for hours. The main reason for all this is centralization of all the facilities and resources in Kathmandu mainly and only a little in other parts of the country. If all regions were equally developed then people would not migrate to Kathmandu in such a large rate which would help minimize these problems.
However, Kathmandu also has its own good sides. We can enjoy many technological facilities here which are not available in most parts of the country. Not only technology, education is also much better than other part of the country. Beside that we have many other facilities also but unmanaged so it should be managed properly so that life in Kathmandu can be better, comfortable, peaceful and much more enjoyable than it is currently. .

THE TINSEL TOWN

It’s been 18 years since I’ve been living in Kathmandu. I was born here, I learned to crawl, stand, walk, run, speak and write here. Till date my short life in this city has been nothing less than wonderful. I’ve got a variety of experiences from this city. There are numerous reasons for which I love my home town. But yes there are also a couple of things that I dislike about it. People living in Kathmandu have mastered the skills of waiting in a queue for petrol, gas, etc. Moreover, the security here is so strong that even if there’s a bomb blast the criminal is talking with great relief to the media. How can one forget the pleasure when the power is on? I don’t know when Kathmandu will be free from all sorts of crisis and shortage. Another thing on the hate list is Inflation for sure. And Pollution always tops the list!
Ok I’ve complained a lot now let’s talk positive. Kathmandu is a city of monuments and holy shrines. We are blessed to have Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath , the Durbar squares and uncountable temples and monuments around us. Kathmanduites always have a reason to celebrate be it Valentine’s Day, Holy, Dashain, Tihar, Christmas, Id or Loshar. There are various events organized here. Being the heart of Nepal, the capital city it provides a lot of employment opportunities. The best schools, universities, industries and corporate houses are situated in Kathmandu itself.
No matter how difficult life is, people of Kathmandu are always jovial and not to forget fashion conscious. That is what makes Kathmandu bright and colorful at all seasons at all times.

LIVING IN KATHMANDU

Well! First of all to begin with ‘Kathmandu’ is the capital city of an underdeveloped country Nepal and as being the capital city it has different types of advantage and disadvantages. Kathmandu has all sorts of infrastructures which are needed for the operation of small to big operations such as to open a small retail business or to the establishment of a supermarket and not only for business it is also the first priority of students studying in different parts of Nepal because there are numerous education institution which provides quality education and as for me Kathmandu is just a place which fulfills my secondary requirements like education, passion for music and thirst for opportunities besides that, what I like about Kathmandu is that there are people belonging to different races, lives in harmony which ultimately makes it a discrimination free city. However, there are more number of people living in Kathmandu than its infrastructure can hold which leads to the problems of waste management, security, water supply, electricity supply etc moreover, there are problems of air, water, soil pollution which poses a direct threat to peoples’ health likewise being a capital city Kathmandu; people also faces the problems of strikes, different protest, rallies etc but I don’t care about different pros and cons all  I care is that this is the place that has helped me to be of what I am today!!

The Difference

The difference separates you between me
I’m blind by your love I cannot see
Tried to hold you but I’ve fallen in dark
Trying to come out with the light of spark
I’m afraid of my destiny
Please hold me
I’m afraid of you
Please close me
I’m afraid of myself
Please kill me

Welcome Party!!!

Welcome party which was organized by senior students was simply good and was also very enjoyable enough for me to enjoy the different activities conducted in the program. The venue was in the right place for me as it is not so far away from my home. I along with my friends arrived at the venue a hour late as there was too much traffic at the road and when I arrived there was some programs conducted like ‘Mister/Miss fresher’s and there was a little chaos in the venue as there was not so much seats for all the people and some of them had to stand and watch. The moment arrived as I was waiting for it eagerly and it was ‘music’ there was the performance of band and they had played my favorite song. I didn’t expect time to fly away that soon but unfortunately it did and we were coming to the end of the program and the last program was dance party and I had food and tea and had came back from venue so all in all it was a good way to kill my time.
