kATHMANDU CITY

Living in Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the capital and, with close to one million inhabitants, the largest metropolitan city of Nepal. Kathmandu is not only the capital of the federal democratic republic of Nepal but also the headquarter of the central development region among the five development regions constituted by the 14 administrative zone of Nepal located at the central part of the country.
Kathmandu, being the capital city, most of people starts their career from this city. Be it you or be it me, none of us wants to live in the city where we can easily gets the facilities that are required in our daily life. And Kathmandu is that city where we can find every facilities we want.
Talking about me, I am actually from Pokhara. It has been nearly 6 months living in Kathmandu. Now I am here for my higher study which I didn’t find in Pokhara. So, today I’m forced to come up here sacrificing my family members and friends to make-up my dream success in real life. In this six months interval time, living in Kathmandu, I found that Kathmandu is very good city in education and job field. Living in Kathmandu we can find ourselves more confident. I find people in Kathmandu are more selfish than Pokhara. Here, people think only about themselves. People in Kathmandu have no time for their children because of their busyness. Due to this reason, I find most of the youngsters engaged in bad activities. I find to youngsters, going to disco, night club party, drinking and smoking is nothing to them
Seeing too much crowdies and pollution in Kathmandu I always remember my beautiful town Pokhara. I compare it with Pokhara. Seeing the pollution I really don’t want to stay here anymore. Wherever we go we had to stay in traffic jam. We had to inhale the pollution everyday which makes us sick. It’s very hard to get good and healthy foods and here daily we had to face the shortage of water which is making us hard to live.
Although it is the city of opportunities, it is not so well secured city. Crimes, robbery, theft are increasing day by day. An individual cannot find himself\herself secured. We cannot predict anything because anything can happen here at any time.
Summing up, Kathmandu is the city of opportunities as well as challenges. We need to prove ourselves best in order to get anything here. The life of Kathmandu valley is just a single type of life, here neither one cares for another nor does anything for others.

ace

“Pleasure And Pain At Ace”
Pleasure and pain are the two facts of life. life is full of pleasure and pain. There are moments when we are very happy and delighted. Similarly, at some moments we get obsessed. It is a part of life. Talking about my journey to ace, I completed my intermediate from one of the best college of my hometown (birgunj). I wanted to do bachelors from a more prestigious place to explore and enhance my knowledge and Kathmandu came to my mind.  Out of the many colleges, I choose Ace to pursue my bachelors .
After joining ace the experience was pleasing. The environment was totally different from the previous college. I loved the environment , especially the extra curricular activities. It improved my skills drastically and I became aware of my hidden talents . I found trustworthy and reliable friends on whom I can count.
On the other hand, Ace was a tough decision to make as it compelled me to stay away from my family and hometown. I am learning to be self-dependent, though good but difficult. I’m trying to adapt the culture of Kathmandu and be a part of it.
But as we all experience, life is all about experiencing the good and learning from the bad. I believe that my decision will develop a better person in me.

KATHMANDU

                                           LIVING IN KATHMANDU
Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. Kathmandu is also known as “city of temple”.  It is surrounded by big hills and it is most developed city of Nepal. Everybody wants to live in such city where there are lots of opportunity and facilities. When I passed SLC from my village sindhupalchok then I came to Kathmandu for higher studies.
I am living Kathmandu since three years. At this period, I had faced many problems in Kathmandu. The first thing is that the people of Kathmandu are less sociable and unhelpful than village. Everybody wants to live better and facilitated life but in there is very difficult to live better life to the student who are comes from outside valley. There are lots of problems to new comers people like the environment, fashion, culture and tradition who are come from countryside.
However, there are lots of opportunities to become a successful person. We can get quality and advanced education, morden technology and newly arrived amenities in easier way. People have chances to get better job and have to place to show their skill in the competitive market. People can run their own business. In recent time there are various problems arises which make our life worst.  Drinking water problem, gas, petrol shortage, unsecure future , rise in price of daily using products, drugism ,unfair politicism, pollution are the some present scenario of Kathmandu. Although it is the place of various culture, languages which forces to visit Kathmandu by tourist which also have positive impact on national economy.
At last, we should change the scenario of Kathmandu by implementing our wisdom and behavior to live better life in this cultural city.

a beautiful feeling

LOVE
Love is the beautiful feelings that express honesty, affection and at the same time friendship. Around the world people are concerned about solutions for many of social problems. The feeling love could be the key for many of that problem. Although, some people do not believe that it is possible. Problems that include world hungry and violence are some example of social matters that love could solve.

The most important reason why love could help the hungry problem around the world is the fact that love ties people together in a way to help each other. First of all, feelings such as, caring about others and helping each other are also included in love. Besides, someone moved by that magic feeling are more likely to do little actions that today's are being more and more rare. For example, to join a non-governmental institute that help people with hungry or even feeding someone who need food is a simple attitude that this feeling incentive people to do. Secondly, the spirit of sharing is not very common in today’s world. In fact, people tend to be more selfish and caring less about others. However, love flourishes that felling and makes people more likely to share what they have. For instance, sharing the half lances with someone who do not have or even giving a piece of a fruit are attitudes that people moved by love often do. Therefore, love incentive people do help solving social problems, as hungry, which is just by us and we don’t realize.

Another important social matter that love could help to solve is the violence. It is undeniable that the first thing to associate with love is peace. First, that fantastic feeling attract people around with a peaceful sentiment. For example, starting a fight or thinking of taking someone life is thoughts that do not exist when one's are contagious by love. Currently, the world is moved by ambition, revenge and meanness. Usually when you read or watch some news the first headlight that appears is about war, murder or people being killed and there is anywhere to be safe. Actions like that are avoided when love is surrounding people life.

In conclusion, Love is answer for most of the world question. It is a necessary feeling in life because it is wonderful and magic. Also, it holds people together in way to help and care about each others.

love

                                                          WHAT’ S LOVE
As our assignment, I had to write about LOVE.so, obviously I googled
it and when I started clicking the results, I realized that I was in
big turmoil. The definitions and views were so contrast, complex and
different.
According to Wikipedia Love is a tender, passionate affection, strong
personal liking. Further, it has defined love as an emotion of strong
affection and personal attachment.
Some philosophers say, love is bond or connection between two souls
that results in trust, intimacy and an interdependency that enhances
both souls.
Some naturalist says love may be understood, as part of the survival
is instinct a fortune to keep human beings together against menaces
and to facilitate the continuation of the species.
Some says love is what love is. Another says its action towards others
based on compassion, its illusion, mystery, imagination,
inspirational, immeasurable, ecstasy blah blah blah.
After going through the above definitions, I concluded that due to the
diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the
feelings involved, it is unusually difficult to define love.
It is more about feelings. Oops! That aint my definition.

MANOJ SUNAR

The heart of the country Kathmandu

I was born in Kathmandu and have been living here since the last 19 years. For some people Kathmandu is crowded, polluted and dangerous. I too feel that sometimes. Just ten years back this city was a perfect place for tourists. There were green everywhere, less people and vehicles but now since the people around the country moved in here it’s densely populated.

In recent years the heart of the country has turned into a centre for bomb explosion, robbery, murder and political mishaps. Not just that Kathmandu has turned into a city that always sleeps because of the load of power cut it bears. There are other problems as well that people face in Kathmandu such as pollution, traffic, lack of drinking water, lack of petroleum etc.

There are different difficulties in Kathmandu yet it is no less than any other cosmopolitan cities in the world. It has large shopping malls, numbers of hotels and restaurant, clubs and multiplex etc. Not just that it has been providing job opportunities to people around the country and it has numerous amount of financial institutions, schools and colleges, government organizations etc.

For any human being though they live in any part of the world they have a different kind of affection for their home town. So, do I. If there are threats in Kathmandu there are opportunities as well. If there are problems here, there should be a solution as well. So I believe it’s our responsibility as well to make Kathmandu a better place to live.

living in kathmandu

 LIVING IN KATHMANDU

KATHMANDU, a city of dream for most. Life is full of activities here .it  is a centre of all types of education. It is a centre of trade, medical facilities, business and recreation..People staying the nearby villages and towns come to this city on different errands.Living in Kathmandu, people can take the chances to study and work best. There are many good institutes for u to choose. You can express your ability to study what you like. Moreover, when you graduate, you also find it easier to find chances to get a good job with good salary, that is quite difficult in small cities or countryside’s; because there concentrates many big companies and groups. Hence, many graduate students choose Kathmandu to live and work. In short, it is where you can take advantages for yourself.

In addition, you can enjoy the best service and entertainment. Lives here is luxurious but you don't have to be worried when you are sick or suffer a disease because there you can find good doctors for you, as long as you have much money. What's more, in a big city you can enjoy new entertainment such as new games or luxury games.

Like there are two sides of same coin there are certain  disadvantages, living in the capital city. Here, everyone remains busy. Neighbors live like strangers. One hardly knows who one’s next door neighbor is. Nuclear families dominate the cities. Most children stay away from their working parents during the day. In this case, infants and small children below four years who are kept at the mercy of minds are the worst suffers. Everyone finds himself in hurry and worry. One even ignores the align person on the roadside.
Industrialization has led to urbanization. But, it has added to the pollution problem. A city is full of smoke, fumes, dirt, dust garbage, gases and foul smell. People living in big cities no longer breathe the fresh air and see any green, open spaces. The migration of rural population to the cities has led to overcrowding. It has also led to the establishment of slum areas.

Many people can argue that living in a big city makes them tired with noise and dash. They like the slow pace of life in a countryside. But I think that you can live there for a long ime because the young always like to enjoy new things and want to have much money, which is very difficult to do in a countryside. However, when you get older, especially when you retire, a countryside wll the best choice to live.
