KTM ROCKS!

Kathmandu is the place where my family originated and so did I. It’s been about 18 years since I’ve stayed in Kathmandu. Though I have traveled to other places of Nepal or abroad, the only place I feel most comfortable and safe is here, in KTM. Over the years, drastic changes have taken place all over Kathmandu; some positive some negative. The roads, buildings, houses, people, cultures and every other smaller thing in and around it have changed.
When I travel inside Kathmandu valley, I feel familiar with every place and people I come across. There is no difficulty for me to roam around KTM, wandering all day long or at night. This is my home place and I live my fullest in it. It may be New York, California, Milan or any other place that I may travel to someday but at the end of the day I want to settle in KTM no matter what its status may be in the near future. Though KTM has been crowded and there has been shortage of different basic needs like electricity, water, roads, I hope this would soon end and also hope for KTM to be urbanized and well managed in the upcoming days.

HOLI-FESTIVAL OF COLORS

Holi is one of the four most popular festivals observed by all without any distinction of caste, creed and status. It is observed on the full moon night of Phalguna. It marks the end of winter and the advent of spring season. It is a two-day festival though we celebrate only first day.
People splashing colored water on their friends, relatives, neighbors and even passerby is always fun. Noisy and colorful processions are taken out through the bazaars and streets. In refined people it is characterized by song, music, and floral decoration and splashing of perfumed water. People forget all enmity and embrace each other, with warmth and love, and renew their friendship.
This was my one of the best holi and hoping to have colorful journey of life with all my friends though its late HAPPY HOLI………..

HOLI!! HOLI!! HOLI!!

Holi is a two day Hindu spring celebration that takes place per the Hindu calendar based on a full moon in late February or early March. It is also known as the festival of colors. But I hate Holi; it is one of the festivals which I don’t like to celebrate. Many people like Holi and they feel very excited for Holi to play with waters, colors and its celebration. I really don’t enjoy playing Holi, because I don’t like colors, people throwing balloons, water colors, and color powder randomly passerby walking people, which is really irritating. Noisy and processions are taken out through the bazaars and streets which create unnecessary noise pollution and fights among people.
Holi is the festival where people celebrate among themselves by eating sweets and exchanging the visit to each other house. But nowadays Holi is played very randomly people splash water to any people, they show irrational behavior by taking lots of bhang .although taking bhang is one of the part of celebration , but people drink it unlimitedly and show their misbehavior and fight takes place.
I haven’t celebrated Holi since 10 years, and I even don’t feel like celebrating it, there is no excitement and enthusiasm for Holi to me.

Life in Kathmandu

Kathmandu my birthplace, where I have spend my most memorable  "Kathmandu" my birthplace where I have spend my most memorable time of childhood , and currently living my life to fullest here. Kathmandu is very beautiful and rich in cultural heritage, natural beauty. Kathmandu simply is city of joy and happiness and where I have ever shared my sadness. Life in Kathmandu is awesome. There are plenty of options to get you entertained. Blessed with natural beauty and crafted with cultural elegance, this city is one of the best destinations to travel and stay. It’s like dream for most of people to live in Kathmandu city, I feel lucky to be born here even though the city is full of crowd and noisy but I still love it.

Living in Kathmandu is more fun than living in the most developed hi-5 places like USA, UK. Living with loving and caring family, with best friends in small beautiful city Kathmandu is much better than living in foreign developed countries. Although my home is in new road which is one of the most crowded and noisy place ok Kathmandu, its irritates me sometime but now it’s like habit listening to those noise and I like it now. However the Kathmandu is I like living in Kathmandu and having lots of fun with my friends and family, I enjoy living here and all memories of Kathmandu are precious to me.

Life in kthmandu
kathmandu,as the gateway to Nepal Tourism,is the nervwe centre of the country's economy.
From the point of view of tourism economy and cultural heritage, the ansister cities of
lalitpur and Bhaktapur are integral to Kathmandu. As I did my Schooling level in pokhara
I did'nt know much about Kathmandu though my home is in Kathmandu. I only use to come
here on vacation and I did'nt use to roam alot. After giving my S.L.C I came to Kathmandu.
At first,IT was very difficult for me to adjust here because as we all know Kathmandu is a
very polluted city and the growing population and infrastructureare making more pollution to
this city. Kathmandue city ahve more facilities than the other cities of Nepal. But due to
this reason also kathmandu city is getting more polluted day to day due to people unwanted
migration.
There are some advantage and disadvantage of life in kathmandu. The one advantage of living
in Kathandu is that I got a good facilities and a very good college to study Ace Institute
of management which is one of the best college of management of (P.U). But also I miss my
school life the friends who were very friedly to me and the memories sometimes, hurt me!
Although we get good facilities and education the condition of Kathmandu is very poor now-
adays. The population is increasing and there are different oroblem which people of this
city are facing like: all kind of pollution problem is the most important problem of
Kathmandu, and load shedding problem which harm students and workers.
Thus, Kathmandu city is a very wounderful city and if we manage and focus on the major
problem and have preventive measures to control all problems than we will be able to save
our kathmandu city and have a proper quality life.

                                                       I LOVE KATHMANDU
Kathmandu is simply  the most amazing place for me.  To live here is so hard every single day had to go through so many problems ;  namely problem of water, electricity, pollution, traffic ,crowd , noise, petrol, gas, this problem that problem my gosh so many problem still  can’t deny the fact of loving this palace from my heart and soul .
No matter how much we complain but we must realize it we are the one to be blamed for, may not be for everything but most probably for something. Since, we are part of this place we are the reason for the crowd. We unnecessarily wasted our resources and we are the one who is suffering. Simple for an example, not taking care of our very small habits of not switching off light bulbs, fans, heaters, television ,radio excreta when it is not in use is wasting of electricity.  Same logic can be used with other crises of resources as well. Problem does not lies in lacking of resources where it lies is the proper utilization of it.  Stick regulation of rules, time and again monitoring and the best of all  I think is the effective management of everything is the solution of all these mention problems.  Well, this was all about problems there are more beautiful thing to be talked about our beautiful Kathmandu.
Kathmandu itself defines its beauty and glory  through it’s history, culture, tradition, language excreta. Kathmandu is a city of monuments and holy shrines. We are blessed to have Pashupatinath, Swyambhunath , Bauddhanath , uncountable temples and monuments around us. Where  it has large shopping malls, numbers of hotels and restaurant, clubs and multiplex. These is the things I like about kathmandu , available of everything  in a very small palce . Within this small palce we can see one part village area , natural sites to enjoy  on the other side multi stored malls, cinema theaters everything.  I was born in this, I have my family n frends  in this palces ,every cheerful memories of mine has deep connection with this place. Its my home  if I don’t feel secure here  than I  cant imagine anyother palce which is safe for me  so.. I  love Kathmandu.

Holi

Holi is the festival of colors which is celebrated on the day after the full moon in early March. The atmosphere is filled with colors as people throw colors in the air and greet each other by putting abber on each other. Holi is celebrated throughout the country with joy. Children especially enjoy this festival as they throw “lolas” at passerby. Besides they also make each other wet with “pichkaris”. It is said that, holi is celebrated for the sacrifice of Holika on this day. Nowadays holi is celebrated by organizing dance parties and different programs. This festival creates feeling of friendship, people forgets bitterness and hatred. But sometimes some minor and major accidents happen in this festival. People get drunk and it even leads to quarreling.
