Expectation
Once upon a time, there lived a poor family in a mountainous village.
The family consisted of a small child, a father and a mother. The poor parents
used to work in a tea farm to earn their living.
One the mother was picking the
tea lives and she had kept her child under a tree. Suddenly she heard her child
cry, and then she rushed near to her child and saw a snake and a mongoose
fighting. She got scared by that and tried to finish the fight by throwing some
stones on them but failed. Then she saw the mongoose was in serious condition
to die so she threw a piece of bread to him and then the mongoose ran away with
that bread. Then she had a look over the snake and noticed that he was
bleeding. So she gave the snake some milk from her baby’s part and then the
snake drank that milk and went away.
After
six years, the same thing happened. The boy again cried and the mother ran to
see her child but while running she felt down and her leg’s bone got broken,
then she saw her child lying on the ground and a snake by his side. Suddenly
the snake turned into human and told the women the he is the same snake who she
fed milk and saved his life. Then she asked what he did to his child. He told
he had done nothing, he told his will be well in a moment and he was there to
give thanks to the family and he also gave her a small stone and told her to
keep it with her and if she needs something then she should only remember me by
keeping the stone on her head and he would be there to help her and after
telling that he ran away in the forest and suddenly her child woke up. For some
moment she thought that it was a dream but was convinced by looking in the
stone in hand. After a while a mongoose appeared in front of her and he also
turned into human and told that he was the same mongoose that she gave piece of
bread to save his life as the snake was stronger than him. Then he told that he
gave a stick to her and told her that this can fix any physical problem and
touched that stick on her leg and the leg was automatically well and by giving
that stick to her he ran away into the forest too.
Here the conclusion is that we should not help any one expecting
anything from him. You will get Wt you deserve.
