We packed our instruments and gadgets as we left the practice room. Hoping that the people, venue and everything would be as expected we gathered in putalisadak and headed towards the party. I was a fresher and had no idea about how the 'ace welcome party' would be. We entered the venue and to my surprise most of the seniors and friends there were in formals. Cheers and shouts everywhere in the hall made us all more excited and pleased. The location was quite good and so were the people around.
The party started with numerous performances including dance, bands, awards and more. Some acts were really impressive and astonishing. Different dance groups and band performed there which revealed their inner talents and potential they had. And in my view, people here were more talented and capable than I really expected, which made me feel even more proud to study in ace. As the show continued with different slides and speeches, we were scheduled to perform at last. The seniors and friends were awesome there, supporting everyone till the end. We only had to perform couple of songs and so we did. After the perfomance we had dinner and the best part of it all was still to come. It was not the dance party but it was the 'jeri'or 'jalebi' whatever we call it which I personally enjoyed the most. I heard that the dance party also was a hit and it went really good, but I left early and couldn't stay till the end.
Overall, the event was really successful and well-managed, cheers to the organizers! The love and support from the senoirs, teachers and friends even made it more successful. And what I also found was the unity, harmony and understanding between people around which made the program even more fruitful.
