magic carpet

While I was returning home after a long drive to Chitwan, my car broke down on the way. It was  forest area and I was scared as I could see no one on the way. I was walking along the road waiting for someone to come to help me out. I feared wild animals. Just then there appeared a carpet, carpet just like I heard in the“ALLADIN” tale.

As I stepped on the carpet, it started to tremble. I screamed but there was no one to hear me. Then the carpet started to fly in between the trees on the both side of the road. I was excited and frightened at the same time. Then, as it started flying higher, I was excited and started giving direction to the carpet and it followed as I said. On the way I watched the whole view of the villages and the Kathmandu city as well. I was on the way to home but suddenly I realized that this is the time when I can go anywhere I wish with no traffic jams and no passport so I thought of going to the place where I wished to go since my childhood. I was really feeling very happy but the same time, I was missing my friends and wished they could also be with me. All of the sudden there was a huge storm so before I thought of going to home I found myself on the roof of my home. I folded the carpet and took it to my room thinking that I could go to those places the next day.

On the very next day when I got off from my bed and got ready for the sky travelling I didn’t find the carpet. I asked my mom if she has found it and kept somewhere else. She started questioning me about the carpet I was looking for so I had to describe the whole story to her. Before I could complete the whole thing she started laughing at me and called the entire family member and said the entire story I had told her a few minutes earlier. All of the sudden they all started laughing, when I questioned them why were they laughing at me, they told me that I had gone nowhere last day. In fact I had no plan of going anywhere the whole month. Then I was very disappointed to know  that the entire thing I thought had happen was all just a dream.
