Welcome Party

After the beginning of my bachelors I have been waiting for the welcome party. I had much expectation from it and the event really stood up to my expectations. The day finally arrived. 21/01/12, 12:30p.m the program started at Celebration Banquet, Naxal. It was held just the day after our mid-term examination, maybe this added more excitement to the event. After the tension of the exams we had a party what else we would need. Red, black, white was the dress code. I was formally dressed in white suit than I along with my friends reached the venue at 1:00 pm. Well the senior sure have worked hard, the arrangement there was good than I expected. The hall was decorated amazingly and we were welcomed properly by our seniors. Most of the new comers had arrived and teachers and seniors were already there preparing for the program and soon the formal program started. I was very excited to see the performance of the seniors especially the band performance and equally excited for the dance party. And the speeches started, which was the most boring part.  Then gradually the program moved on, the participants for Mr. And Ms. Fresher’s from first semester were competing for the title. The welcome party not only comprised of freshers but also the outgoing batch, which were given their farewell. In between the different programs held we were served with yummy foods. Finally we all gathered on the floor and had a blast on the dance floor; it was the most rocking party of welcome party. At the end of the day I returned back home with fantastic and great fun. It was an awesome and rocking beginning in Ace.
