Welcome party was held in celebration banquet situated in Naxal on 22nd January 2012. We all were warmly welcomed by our seniors and also in the same day the last batch had their emotional farewell. The party was most awaited party after four month of starting BBA undergraduate program. And I didn’t wanted to miss the golden oppourtunity so I attended it.
Me and some of my friends participated in Mr. and Ms. Fresher. Actually I get nervous while talking in front of crowd, so to overcome the fare I participated in the contest and my friends too supported me. It was my first time all alone in stage participating in fresher. At first, I introduced myself in introduction round and it went quite well but talent round and question answer round was really awful. I sang a song called ‘ma dherai Maya’ and one of the senior brother helped me in guitar for that song. It was a life time experience participating in fresher. I realized that I should start learning how to play guitar so that I won’t be depended on others for my performance in stage.
The farewell for the outgoing batch was emotional and touchy. The video clip dedicated to last batch made me feel that one day we will also leave this college with lots of memories with us.
The seniors prepared dance and music performance in the party was really entertaining and I loved it. We cheered all of them who performed in stage. At last we had rocking dance party where all of us rocked the dance floor even though the music wasn’t that good. Overall we had wonderful time in welcome party and we had great fun there.
