As per the schedule “Ace
Welcome cum Farewell Party” was held on 21st January 2012 at Celebration
Banquet. It was scheduled to be start from 12:30am to 7:30pm .The event was
organized by the seniors of 3rd, 5th & 7th semesters.
Since it was the most awaited program for all of us “students from 1st
semester” we were really excited to attend the party. Personally, I was really
excited to be welcomed in the college by the seniors so I had already reached
there by 12:15am. When I entered the main gate our seniors welcomed us with a
batch of Ace. As red, black, white were the dress code the majority of the
students were dressed-up as per the code. The wall of the hall where the event
was to be held was decorated with red and white balloons at either side. The
program started with the introduction of Mr. and Ms Fresher followed by the
welcome words by Mr. Kumar Thapa. The speech by Mr. Kumar Thapa was followed by
band performance and dances. The performance by my friends Bandana and
Pratichya on the song “Bidi Jalaile” and “Chikni Chameli” were enjoyed by all
of us.
Since it was the farewell program too for the senior brothers’
n sisters from 8th semester, they cut the cake to celebrate their
happiness for being Graduate. The paper dance by them bought excitement and
enjoyment to all the viewers. By that time we were tired of hunger and
fortunately it was the food time. Like the program the food was amazing too,
the hot jalebis were superb and tasty. At the end was the dance party
which was the most entertaining part of the event. With full stomach we rocked
the dance floor for about 1hour.
Overall I personally experienced that the program was so well managed that everything was on the mark with time. Only sad part I had was we “student from 1st semester” couldn’t perform a dance as a thank you and farewell performance to the seniors. All in all, the event was enjoyable and all the credit goes to our seniors. I would like to thank them from the core of my heart for such a wonderful event.
