Celebration in Celebrations!

Welcome and farewell party was organized by the students of third, fifth and seventh semesters for the students of first semester and the outgoing batch on 21st of January 2012 in ‘Celebrations’ Party Palace, Naxal. The dress code was white, red and black and the venue was decorated by red and white balloons. The party included various events and programs such as Mr. and Ms. Fresher, paper dance, cake-cutting ceremony, various dance and musical performances and ended with dance party.
Personally, I don’t like parties much. It’s not that I don’t socialize at all but I don’t enjoy in crowed and noisy places. Anyways, I didn’t want to miss this party as this one was very much awaited and everyone was very excited about it. Moreover, I am open to all kind of experiences in life. I also participated in Ms. Fresher although I was hesitant at the beginning to participate as we didn’t have any time for preparation. One thing I knew from the very beginning was that I’ll not be losing anything if I participate. Although I didn’t win, my confidence level increased to some extent.
I enjoyed all the music and dance performances by my friends and seniors. I must say there is a lot of potential and talent in our college. Further the food and dessert was also awesome. I didn’t stay long for the dance party.
Overall the organization and management was satisfactory and the party was better than I had expected. I was able to spend some quality time with my friends and enjoyed myself a lot.
