On 16th Jan, a welcome program was organized for us. It was also a farewell for 8th semester. The venue was Celebration, at Naxal. There was also a dress code of three colors:- Black, Red and White. At first I was confused which color to wear but finally I decided to wear Black color dress. Me along with my friends decided to meet on City Center at 12:30 P.M as the program time was from 12 to 7 pm and then together went on the venue. None of us knew the location so we were lost for some time in searching the venue. Finally we reach on the venue after a long search. I was really excited when I reached there and was wandering about the preparation they had made to us.
When we enter inside, I bought an Ace batch and food coupon near the gate. After that I entered the hall and had a seat. Our senior had made a great preparation and organized a program for us. The first program was the selection for Mr./Mrs Fresher. There was a tough competition between the participants. After the selection of Mr./Mrs Fresher, there was various performance like dance, song, heavy metals etc. In the mean time there was a short tea/coffee break. After the small break Mr./Mrs Acers were selected. I was feeling very hungry and low because of loss of energy. Finally we had break for lunch. I was starving of hunger so I jumped in the food quickly. After having a lunch I felt that I gained some energy. At 6 P.M we had a dance party, I was really excited but it was already so late. Finally I decided to stay for half an hour more. I had so much fun dancing with my friends. The most memorable part of the welcome program was the dance party. I really enjoyed a dance party very well but looking at my watch, it was already 6:45 so I hurried and returned to home quickly.
