Awesome Welcome Party

The much awaited day finally arrived after the long torturous week of exams. I was very excited to attend the Welcome- Farewell of Ace Institute of Management scheduled at Celebrations Banquet, Naxal. I arrived a bit late because of the traffic jam and when I finally arrived, I had to wait outside the gate for checking (identity cards). I entered inside and was disappointed to know that the fresher’s performance had already ended. The dress for the event was Black, White, and Red. I followed the code but was in doubt whether other people will do the same or not. To my surprise almost 60% of the attendees followed the code and that made me relieved.

The ambiance seemed to be vibrant with all the glittering lights, red and white balloons and the presence of all beautiful and lively Acers. Though it was hard finding oneself a seat, I managed to find one and was eagerly waiting for the performances to begin. Our seniors and our classmates entertained us performing various dance and songs. The paper dance was equally enjoyable where the last couple standing won. Each and every performance was outstanding receiving loud applauses. There was a cash door prize of Rs. 1000 which showed that it was so much dedicated to the attendees.

The cake cutting ceremony was nicely held and the photo scroll dedicated to the outgoing batch was very heart touch especially to the targeted batch. The food tasted great and the jalebi was amazingly a satisfier to the stomach. The icing to the cake was done by the non- stop two hour rocking dance party where awesome lighting and Dj- ing was done. Overall the program was very well managed and I believe all Acers had an ultra wonderful time. Heartfelt thanks to all the seniors and management. Thumbs up!!!
