Missed the Welcome Party

After the end of our mid-term examination, Ace Institute of Management and our seniors had organized a welcome party for the students of 1st semester. I was ready and excited for the party but then at the last moment I could not attend it. Since I could not attend the party, I feel sad that I missed out lots of fun as most of the students were busy talking about it the next day. Welcome Party is the place where you get to know new people except from the ones you already know. So I did miss the opportunity to know my other classmates properly. Other than that, being a great fan of Adele I surely missed the performance by one of our seniors who sang one of her song. I also missed out a great day to be with my friends.To hear from others saying how great the party was and how much of fun they had, I was quite annoyed with myself because if only I could have attended the party, I would not have missed out all those fun and could have been a part of it. Whenever my friends talk about the welcome party I feel like I’m the odd one out. So next time when these kinds of events are organized, I will attend it so that later on I won’t have any regrets.
