2012: Adele, IT IS

These were the lyrics which were hummed by almost everyone and 2012 for sure will be remembered as Adele’s year in the music industry. The minute you hear that voice, the hair stands up on the back of your neck and you realize this is someone special. Raised by a single mother, Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born in May 5th 1988 in Tottenham, North London. Sweeping away 6 Grammys in a single night, Adele is no pop tart, one-hit wonder or American Idol finalist. She’s an original, with a vocal style and personal charisma that is all about human warmth, honesty and embracing the audience.
The first time I heard her, I was like OMFG she is amazing! I was so sure she was some stereo typical female singer we have these days but she was none of that; no zero figure, no over-the-top glamour nor any flashy clothes. What I saw was originality, pure talent and a mesmerizing voice and seriously I can’t get enough of her. After a shattering childhood, broken relationships and nearly a GOODBYE to her musical career, this powerful lady has proved that nothing could stop her from reaching that height of success she has achieved now.

AGREED! Adele is one of the most talented and the best female stereo vocalist till now. 6 Grammys is no small deal. A perfect caricature on Adele with the perfect words used!
