Kathmandu is my hometown.I have been living here all my life & I like this city that's a paradise.
Being the capital,it's definitely overpopulated which is apparent in public spots like cinema halls,parks,public transport like buses & mini-buses,main streets & so on.The traffic congestion on the highway is wearying at times when it takes hours to move from one point to another.Over the years,the city has been highly polluted.The rivers seem sullied & contaminated.Many areas have been deforested & new houses & buildings are still emerging.Theft & crime is also not a new topic.
However I think that Kathmandu is a developed city & consists every kinds of modern facilities & infrastructures like educational institutions,corporate,courts,business corporation,embassies,eateries & so on.Though there is a large density of population,we live in peace & harmony.There are some greeneries outskirts of the city.I am fortunate to have my family & friends within the city.I am proud of my hometown.
