Living in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal is one of the most developed places to live in Nepal. I have been living here at Kathmandu since last few years. All the facilities like quality education, health, entertainment etc that are required for living are available here. It is the place where opportunities are waiting for every types of people. Though this is not the place where I was born but I love the place Kathmandu. But there are some things I dislike about it. Being the city from where the government operates and control the whole country, where corporate houses and different universities are situated, the security lacks here. I found the people living here less cooperative even neighbors are like the strangers than the other part of the country. The traffic jam problem and pollution are the ever green problems here. The rivers in the valley from where people used to quench their thirst are contaminated and smell so bad that no one even wants to pass by them.
While talking something about Kathmandu how can we forget that Kathmandu is a city of monuments and temples? There are lots of cultural heritage like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Darbar Squares in Kathmandu which are listed in the world cultural heritage too. The architectural treasure of the Kathmandu valley has been categorized under the well known seven groups of heritage monuments and buildings. It is the place of attraction for the tourist.
Many people say that living in big cities like Kathmandu is too difficult and it’s noisy but what I think is city like Kathmandu is the place where one can live an easy life though expensive.
