It’s been 18 years I have lived here and it feels good to be a part of Kathmandu city. As it is the capital of our country Nepal, we can enjoy different facilities which have made our life more easy and worthwhile. Though there are some advantages and disadvantages of living in this crowded city, I have always loved being here and I’m used to this craziness around me. Better education, better facilities, entertainment that is what makes Kathmandu a place preferred by many. Youngsters here breathe fashion and music.
But these days there are things that make people fear this place and have second thoughts about it. Lots of crimes are happening these days which have disturbed the life of people living here. Load shedding, increment in the population, pollution everywhere has made quite difficult for us to live our life the way we used to live. Political instability, strikes, bandhas are the things that are affecting our lives.
Kathmandu is a beautiful place to live in if we subtract the things like bandhas, crime, strikes etc. I love my city and I am happy to have lived here.
