Living In Kathmandu

Kathmandu, which is the capital city of our country Nepal, is a beautiful city which is surrounded by beautiful hills and mountains. It is also known as the city of gods and goddess as it consists of many cultural heritage sites that makes the city culturally and historically unique.
Living in Kathmandu, I find very comfortable as it is the capital city, almost all the facilities are available here like infrastructures, governmental works are mostly carried out here, hospitals where modern technologies are brought to process, better education and so on. In Kathmandu, all the festivals are celebrated in a unique way by organizing different programs whether be international festivals like Valentine, New Years or national festivals like Dashain, Tihar, Democracy Day, Gai Jatra and lot more. In this city, there are lots of customs, traditions and cultural heritage sites which has made this city more beautiful and colorful and also has the power to attract the people whether the people is of our own country or from foreign countries. As most of the people are educated here, there is no discrimination in any cast, culture, men and women and so on. This is the one thing I like about this city the most.
It’s not that living here I’ve seen only the good thing about it, but I’ve also faced a lot of problems here. The most going on problem in this city is pollution. It is the most crowded city in my view. Due to the growing vehicles and population in this city, has made the city polluted and ruined its beauty. Load shedding is the other problem that I have faced here.
Ignoring the little amount of problems, I’ve learned to adjust in this beautiful and colorful city and I find myself very comfortable living here.

I have been living here since i was born, though has been much crowded since those days when i was small and much of negative changes rather that positive one, but i heart is full into KTM! :)
